The City of Colorado Springs issued a noise hardship permit May 5 for Ford Amphitheater’s 2026 concert season, allowing events at the Polaris Pointe venue to exceed standard city decibel limits within that defined area. Outside of Polaris Pointe, city and state noise standards remain in effect. In January 2025, the City entered into a mitigation and monitoring agreement with VENU Arts & Culture Foundation outlining additional sound reduction measures and expanded oversight. The Leonardo Da Vinci Museum of North America, located in Pueblo, will open to the public on June 12th. The long awaited announcement occurred March 26 and a full schedule of the opening ribbon-cutting ceremony, celebration and activities will be announced in April. The museum is a unique attraction. Larry Hart joins the Air Force coaching staff as the defensive tackles coach, according to an announcement from head coach Troy Calhoun. Hart comes to the Academy after spending 2025 at Campbell University. Hart joined Campbell’s staff in Spring of 2024, coaching the defensive line and serving as run game coordinator.
