The festival, known as Them Good Ol’ Days In The Park Food and Music Festival, is happening for the first time this year. Simes Carter, a country singer who performs all over Colorado, will be headlining the event.

The Hispanic Chamber Chili Fest will take place in Trinidad on Sept. 13, and will feature food, live music, games like horseshoes, and a cornhole competition. Proceeds from the event will support future community events as well as a scholarship program for local students.

From Sept. 19 to 21, the Pueblo Chile and Frijoles Festival will be happening for the 31st year in a row in downtown Pueblo. The festival was created to promote local agriculture and fresh produce in the city. In addition to chilies sold and eaten everywhere, the event will have live entertainment, cooking competitions, a jalapeño-eating competition, and other street vendors.
