COCKTAILS AND CHERRY PIE
Enjoy this month’s sweet and boozy collaboration between Gold Star Bakery and The Principal’s Office at Ivywild School: the Sloe Gin Collins served with a slice of cherry pie. The drink is traditionally made from sloe gin, lime juice and sparkling water. Sloe gin is steeped with a fruit called sloes, a type of drupe similar to plums. The process gives it a slight orangey-red color and a fruity aroma. The drink pairs well with the tart and juicy cherry pie, and the two treats are being offered for $14.95.
